Ethereum Zuri 2026

Eugenio Reggianini

Eugenio Reggianini is an ISO expert at TC 307, he works with EU institutions, regulators, and industry to align decentralized identity, privacy-preserving infrastructure, and blockchain governance with emerging international standards.
Through extensive research on EBSI and its identity trust framework, he has developed a strong understanding of how verifiable credentials, zero-knowledge proofs, and data-minimal architectures can support high-assurance use cases. This foundation informs his current focus on institutional financial compliance including on-chain attestations for RWA markets, privacy-preserving onboarding, custody, and settlement flows.
Within the Ethereum community, he contributed to the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance in the past and continuously collaborates with builders across the ZK, identity, and account-abstraction stacks. His work spans modular proof systems, compliance-aligned AA modules, and GDPR-compatible data flows that connect institutional trust frameworks with Ethereum-native applications

Implementing Privacy Pools on EBSI for Programmable Privacy & Compliance
Eugenio Reggianini

This presentation proposes to integrate an Institutional Trust Identity Framework (EBSI) with Privacy Pools to combine Customer Due Diligence (KYC/KYB) with transaction monitoring (KYT) as a comprehensive compliance tool supporting on-chain operations such as on-off ramp for payment settlement.
