The Swiss Road to DePIN: Infrastructure, Physical AI, and RWAs
Mark Ballandies
What is DePIN, where did it come from, and why is Switzerland becoming an important environment for its evolution? This talk introduces the core primitives of DePIN, reflects on its rapid emergence over the past years, traces the Swiss path from early experimentation to a broader infrastructure thesis, and looks ahead to decentralized physical AI and the convergence with real-world assets. The session concludes with an outlook on upcoming events, workshops, and future directions for the Swiss DePIN landscape.
