Head of Innovation - Switzerland for UNHCR
Alvaro Cosi is the Senior Innovation Lead at Switzerland for UNHCR, the national partner of the UN Refugee Agency in Switzerland. With a background in global advertising, Alvaro initially worked as a creative and strategic planner before transitioning to venture building and innovation. In his current role, he leads efforts to foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the organization to better address the needs of refugees and displaced persons. A key aspect of his work involves exploring innovative solutions from Swiss startups and tech ecosystems and connecting these solutions to the challenges faced by UNHCR.
