Working in crypto since 2017, Aliya Das Gupta is Senior Vice President of BD and Ecosystem Partnerships for Sygnum, the world’s first digital asset bank, based in Switzerland and Singapore. Aliya leads the development of strategic projects within the bank, including the Sygnum Ryse program, designed to contribute to growth and foster innovation among younger players in the cryptospace; and Sygnum Recovery – the world’s first institutional solution for multi-sig recovery. She is also the host of Sygnum’s podcast ‘The Crypto Explorer’.
Aliya Das Gupta is a Board Member of CryptoMondays Zurich and President & Board Member of Women in Web3 Switzerland. Previously, Aliya led a public policy think tank, working with the Parliament of India.
Leeor Groen is a Managing Director at Spartan Group, the leading global digital asset management and investment banking group fully dedicated to dealmaking in the blockchain industry and managing over $500mn. Having spent his career at the intersection of finance and technology, Leeor is a recognized thought leader on the role of emerging tech on the global financial system and is a frequent speaker on topics related to the future of finance, private equity and capital markets. Based in Switzerland, he holds several board positions and draws on a wealth of international experience having lived and worked professionally across the UK, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Singapore and Australia.
Alain Kunz is a Managing Director at GSR, where he leads European Business Development for the firm, a leading market maker and multi-stage investor in the crypto industry.
Prior to joining GSR, Mr. Kunz founded several ventures in the financial services and digital asset sectors. He has also served in advisory roles to public and private institutions, political leaders, and private individuals, with a focus on the intersection of innovation, business and finance, technology, and societal impact.
Mr. Kunz began his career at UBS Investment Bank after graduating from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). His experience reflects a strong focus on navigating the evolving financial and technological landscapes.

Dominic Weibel is heading the research team at Bitcoin Suisse AG and joined the department in 2022. Prior to his transition into digital assets, he was a research fellow at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in the field of materials science. Captivated by the transformative potential of distributed ledger technologies and their impact on society, he dedicated his focus to this emerging field and has been an active contributor to the crypto ecosystem since 2017.
