Markus started his career 15+ years ago and has extensive experience as portfolio manager across rates, credit, crypto and multis asset portfolios, both in Switzerland and in London. He was responsible for the investment management arm and deputy head of asset management at Berner Kantonalbank. He currently takes responsibility of the liquid crypto investment strategies at Sygnum Asset Management. He holds an MBA from the University of Rochester (USA) and EMBA from University of Bern (Switzerland) and is Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
