Overview of Ethereum staking trends, market structure and impact of institutional inflows. Proposal to encourage institutional allocators to rely on decentralized protocols over centralized counterparties.


We will explore the Ethereum staking market, its current structure and various players, and what the potential impact could be of large inflows of institutional capital. We will propose that institutional use of decentralized liquid staking protocols instead of concentrated counterparties can mitigate many of the risks of market concentration and maintain Ethereum's security. We will provide and overview of various approaches existing institutions use to this effect.
