Institutions built permissioned chains because they had no choice. Public blockchains like Ethereum offered no privacy and compliance was unsolvable. That's changing. FHE and ZK proofs fundamentally alter the calculus. The question now is whether we build bridges, or keep building walls that cost this industry its credibility.
