What Will the Renaissance Look Like? Sculpture and Architecture in the Age of Robots.
Micah Springut
The last 80 years have been notable for the inability to convert our vast wealth into beautiful built environments. Construction costs today are 3x-10x today what they were in 1900.
Now there's hope that AI automation of robots (à la Monumental Labs) will usher in a renaissance by radically reducing the cost of shaping materials like stone. So what will our cities look like in the future?
