In 2026, we re-exploited TheDAO's original reentrancy vulnerability to recover 46 ETH trapped for a decade. This talk dissects the original TheDAO contract, our optimized multi-reentrant attack, the unsigned integer underflow trick needed to stabilize state, and the opsec of executing it live on mainnet racing the gas clock, before the network woke up.
