Future Building Starts with Coordination: Agree or Disagree?
2026-05-10 –, Sladkovský Stage

The hardest problem in the world is not intelligence, but coordination. From climate change to AI governance, many of today’s most urgent challenges are coordination failures. This talk explores how we can design systems that help diverse groups align, disagree productively, and collectively build better futures at scale.

For the past two years, I’ve been building Agora Citizen Network, an open-source deliberation and opinion-mapping tool designed to help communities understand disagreement, surface common ground, and coordinate on issues shaping policy at both local and global levels.

Alongside this work, I’ve also been organizing experimental events focused on future prototyping and collective intelligence, where participants use structured games and deliberative methods to explore how we can better imagine and build shared futures.

In this talk, I’d love to invite ETH Prague participants to explore how emerging technologies can be used for decentralized, democratic social coordination—and how we might design systems that make large-scale collective sense-making possible.
