From Philanthropy to Infrastructure: Seeding Regenerative Systems
2026-05-10 –, Sladkovský Stage

The current polycrisis is a symptom of a deeper "crisis of separation" - a disconnect between humans and nature, and between people themselves. At regeneration fund, we believe that solving this requires strategic capital and resilient leadership. We act as a strategic partner for systemic interventions that address the root causes of our social and ecological decline.

We relate to the Solarpunk theme of ETH Prague as a call for tangible, funded action. Our motivation for speaking is to show how a modern endowment fund can function as a "social substrate." Our work is built on two practical pillars:

Direct Financing: We provide early-stage support for "brave experiments" - from eco-therapy and citizens' assemblies to local currencies - that have the potential to trigger systemic shifts.

Leadership & Team Development: We recognize that even the best ideas fail without healthy human systems. We invest in the people - the leaders and teams - providing them with the tools and space to grow, experiment, and sustain their impact without burning out.

Why this isn't "Philanthropy as Usual"
Our approach is:

Systemic, not Symptomatic: We fund the architects of new systems, not just the repairmen of the old ones.

Host, not Hero: Our fund is designed to be a "nursery" for other projects. We don't seek dominance; we seek to empower a diverse portfolio of regenerative actors.

Risk-Tolerant: We fund what traditional institutions won't - the experimental, the radical, and the deeply local projects that bridge the gap between human society and the biosphere.

What we bring to ETH Prague
The Ethereum community understands that infrastructure matters. We support the social and financial infrastructure for a regenerative future. We want to share our experience in identifying high-leverage interventions and how we use our fund to cultivate a new generation of leaders who are rooted, hopeful, and strategically minded.
