Modern onchain capital formation is broken. Tokenholders have no real say over the treasury, founders have to deal with micromanagement for little gain, and legal setups are complicated with little regard for the token.
In this talk, we explore how Umia addresses the limitations of Capital Formation, and how this setup enables for the next generation of Agentic Ventures and Solo Founders.
The following talk will dive deeper into the current limitations of Onchain Capital Formation. From lack of tokenholder accountability to DAO micromanagement, we will explore the reasons why most projects are opting to go private or equity based rather than building onchain.
From there, we will explore how we believe these issues can be fixed, including with futarchic decision making, new legal setups, and onchain reassurances.
