You, your institution, or the government? As AI commoditizes knowledge, this workshop explores what real learning looks like in a decentralized world. Open discussion, then live peer teaching in small groups. Experience dEdu firsthand.
Education is one of the major systems still run by centralized institutions — and one of the most overdue for change. Credentials signal endurance more than mastery. Curricula serve systems more than learners. And now AI is exposing what was already broken: when information becomes cheap, the question of who shapes knowledge and who gets to teach it becomes urgent and deeply ethical.
This is the question dEdu is built around. A decentralized education platform where teachers teach what they know without compromise, learners fund the courses they want, and achievement is cryptographically verified. Web3 values — ownership, transparency, trust applied to the system that shapes everything else.
This workshop brings that question into the room. A short intro to dEdu and the challenge we're tackling, followed by an open group discussion, then participants split into small expert-led groups to teach each other directly. No slides, no stage, just people sharing what they actually know. The format is the argument.
From the BIS to the blockchain — I traded central banking for decentralization and never looked back. Mom, rebuilding financial sovereignty with DAOs since 2019, now leading the teacher community at dEdu and rebuilding educational sovereignty.
