Crypto has shown us the power of self-sovereign finance; and Ethereum has shown us the unlock of composable platforms. This talk is about how those lessons can be transplanted into a new world, that of genomics. But opposed to existing attempts, our aim is to create something from first principle, unbounded by the limitations of our priors: a genomics platform worthy of the cypherpunk ethos.
Peter has been a lead at the Ethereum Foundation for 10 years, joining before Frontier and working on Go Ethereum up until 2025. Since then, he pivoted to his own biotech startup, Dark Bio, aiming to bring privacy, self-sovereignty and composable platforms to the world of genomics.
