The Decentralization Stack: Where Are We Still Lying to Ourselves?
2026-05-10 –, Grégr Stage

Infrastructure builders from storage, compute, identity, and frontend sit down to answer one question: what actually breaks if a single company disappears? No roadmaps. No token plugs. Just honest conversation about which parts of the stack are genuinely decentralized and which parts everyone quietly hopes nobody looks at too closely.

Panels tend to be polite. Everyone agrees decentralization matters, shares a roadmap, moves on.
This one tries something different. Builders from four infrastructure layers talk openly about where their stack still depends on centralized components. The questions are simple: What would break if AWS banned you? What dependency are you most embarrassed about? What would it actually take to fix?
No shaming. Every layer has tradeoffs and everyone on stage knows it. The point is to have the conversation that usually only happens after three drinks at the afterparty.

Disagreement encouraged.
Rehearsed answers discouraged.
