Circles is a well-known protocol with a simple promise: Sovereign peer-to-peer money that revives the social roots of money and provides an alternative to state-issued currencies. In this talk, I show how communities can introduce Circles as a community currency, allowing them to activate dormant resources and run a local economy that operates without Dollars, Euros or Korunas.
