Ethereum has won the debate about the future of global finance. BlackRock ($10 trillion AUM) announced their intention to tokenize all the world's financial assets.
But now that they're here, how do we keep our soul, and not lose our values? Can we decentralize the whole system?
The Real World Asset (RWA) trend in the Ethereum ecosystem has finally triggered the fusion of Ethereum's technology and the global financial system: tokenization is winning, and the EVM is everywhere.
But so are KYC, AML, CTF, securities lawyers, regulated custodians and the entire landscape of financial regulation. By the time they're done with us, will Ethereum be "just a database"? Will the cultural DNA of the system we built together be diluted too much by the next wave of change. How do we fight back against the risk of winning the world, but losing our souls in the process?
