A lot is talked about the possibilities of ZK privacy. Let me show it can work in reality.
Remember the prompts you get when you enter a restricted website, confirming whether you're at least 18 years old? Why is it ok for anyone just to click "Yes" with zero proofs?
I claim it's ok because there haven't been tools to easily (and securely) verify the age. Zero Knowledge technology provide this possibility.
I'll walk through the steps needed for this kind of project and showcase a small, concrete project I built for this.
ZK & EVM freelancer
Plenty of years of EVM development. Turned to the dark side (of ZK) a year or two ago and haven't looked back.
Developing, consulting, designing various ZK systems. Going to events, teaching ZK, talking and writing about it.
Currently diving deeper into the ZK protocol-level research. Getting lost in that deep well. Building my own STARK prover because, well, why not.
