A workshop for beginners explaining the essential maths needed to understand zero knowledge proofs. It is intended to to make ZKP technology more accessible and reduce the barriers to entry for working in the area.

The workshop will cover
- Background cryptography / number theory
- Polynomial theory
- Polynomial Commitment Schemes
- Elliptic Curves
- An overview of zero knowledge systems and the optimisations used with them.

After a career in TradFi in 2015 I moved full time to blockchain work. I am the CEO of Extropy a blockchain / cryptography consultancy based in Oxford

Much of my work now is teaching bootcamps about Zero Knowledge Proofs, zkML, Advanced Solidity and Security
I am a co founder of the Oxford Blockchain Society and run meetup groups for Ethereum and Mina.
I am a regular speaker at web3 conferences and often a volunteer for the Ethereum developer conference.
